Reviews
Very good food, the view from the terrace of the restaurant is just beautiful. They are generous with the truffle shave and all the ingredients are very fresh and 0 km
Decor and scenery: ***** up the hill next to the main road, views over piemonte wine fields. The restaurant attracts all sorts, couples, friends and families
Food: **** very good dishes, local and typical. We were hoping for something exceptional food though, but did not get that.
Service: *** service was not very attentative, decent enough. The staff IS very attentative to their regulars and big spending customers. We thought this to be a bit awkward. Some customers think highly of themselves and allow themselves to park where they cannot park and arrive with a lot of noise.
Sufficient parking options around the restaurant. Good for children of any age.
Writing yet another glowing review of Osteria Veglio is like carrying coals to Newcastle. Needless to say that in numerous visits to the Langhe region I always have a meal here and it is always great. A special place in my heart (or maybe stomach) is reserved for the incomparable panna cotta desert, a version so close to perfection that all others pale by comparison. Of course the wine list is superb, featuring all the great producers of the region, the good thing is that even choosing an inexpensive Barolo will provide a stellar drinking experience.
We were in La Morra , and that small town was just crazy. We wanted to find a place to eat lunch and saw this on the map. It was only a couple minutes away and worth the drive. They require you to spend a $30 minimum per person, which was not a problem for us. Everything was delicious! I wish we would have time to order more food. we sat outside on a beautiful November afternoon, and had a great lunch with a view.
Spectacular food. One of the best vitello tonnato I've ever had! The interior has everything it needs for a fantastic rustic experience but decoration is a little cold. Eat and drink plenty! 😀
Lovely lunch with an amazing view! Elegant dishes, and a great selection of wines. Affordable prices, friendly staff. I will come back 😉 …
Absolute best food and experience for us in Piedmonte. A modern but familiar and comforting interpretation of many of the classics. A deep and well priced wine list as well. Molto benne !
Could not suggest this place any more!! SOO amazing. The food was phenomenal, service was friendly and attentive, wine menu was extensive. If I could suggest anything in the area please go here! You need to get the vanilla ice cream over raspberry and the spaghetti with clams and broccoli was 10/10
